    Chelsea vs Manchester United

When it comes to English football’s top tier, this weekend’s meeting between Chelsea and Manchester United is undoubtedly the biggest clash in the division and with it seeing two huge clubs going face to face, it will be one of the tougher Premier League predictions to make.
With both clubs aspiring to finish in the top-four at the end of the season, Sunday’s Stamford Bridge clash could have huge ramifications for either side and if there is a victor in West London, the winner will take a huge step towards completing their lofty ambitions.
Thomas Tuchel - Premier League Chelsea stunned the footballing world recently when they sacked Frank Lampard and although it was rather harsh for the former midfielder, it was arguably one of the shrewdest decisions that the board have made in recent times.

Since then, new manager Thomas Tuchel is undefeated as Chelsea manager and the Blues have picked up 14 points from the last 18 on offer, while also winning in both domestic and European cup competitions. The former Borussia Dortmund manager will be pitted against a Manchester United side who are unbeaten in their last 19 away league matches and a statistic like this, is one that certainly sets them in good stead for Sunday. Then again, all runs must come to an end at some point and with Chelsea not conceding a goal in their last three home league matches, they will be confident of bringing United’s impressive away streak to a close. For those who like to dabble in Premier League predictions, Chelsea’s home advantage will certainly be something not to overlook and after beating Atletico Madrid on Tuesday, they will now look to cap off a perfect week by earning maximum points.

    Sheffield United vs Liverpool

On paper this should be one of the easier weekend Premier League predictions to make. Then again, football is not played on paper and with the form that Liverpool are currently finding themselves in, nothing can be taken for granted when they visit Sheffield United on Sunday.
Liverpool injuries in Premier League The defending champions have offered a rather meek defence of their title and when you consider the litany of injuries that manager Jurgen Klopp has had to deal with in defence, it has been a rather bleak mid-winter. To the point where, the Merseyside men have lost their last four league matches and with such a run being recorded, they now find themselves in danger of not qualifying for European club football’s top competition. When it comes to next season, Sheffield United will likely find themselves playing in the EFL Championship and although there have been some gallant shoots of recovery as of late, they were cut off after defeat to Fulham last weekend.

The 1-0 loss for the Blades, is one that sees them an eye-watering 14 points from safety and with Chris Wilder’s men scoring an average of just 0.6 goals this season, that is a relegation return in anyone’s language. With over 2.5 goals being scored in the last three of Liverpool’s away league outings, this could be a game that lends itself to goals. However, after a slew of poor performances in recent times, Jurgen Klopp and his players would take even the slenderest of wins. In terms of Premier League predictions, it is difficult to look past the visitors on Sunday and even though it has been an incredibly strange season, it would take something remarkable for Sheffield United to come out on top.
